Clinical Practice
As a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Mr Waterworth has a special clinical interest in aortic valve & root disease, heart valve disease and intrathoracic aortic aneurysms. He frequently performs coronary artery bypass surgery, aortic valve & aortic root replacement surgery, surgery to correct thoracic aneurysms, heart valve surgery and aortic surgery. In addition, he has extensive experience of complex cardiac surgical ‘re-operation’ procedures and has 30 years’ experience in heart transplant surgery.
Mr Waterworth also holds holds weekly private clinics and operating lists at the BMI Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle.
